they make the same jokes at every show
because it's tested and it works
cause that's what the people came for
and that's what the people get
the play the same songs on the radio
because it's tested and it works
and it's easy to digest, no surprises
background music for the status quo
they sell, they sell, the same old song by a different band
they sell, they sell, plastic sounds for the plastic world
they sell, they sell, a parody of all i believe in
they sell, they sell
it's tested, it works, industrial production
it's tested, it works, let's do it all again
it's tested, it works, and the people are buying
bread and games, that's what they get
they sell, they sell, the same old song by a different band
they sell, they sell, plastic sounds for the plastic world
they sell, they sell, a parody of all i believe in
they sell, they sell

Twenty years later than I would have liked, but hells yes! I stumbled upon "No manners in Ireland" yesterday, cueing the easiest binge buy in a while. This is a nice blend of skillful instrumentalism, great lead voice and good tunes. The old Toasters / Madness / Bosstones fan in me is bouncing off the ceiling again. Thank you for that. You seem to be gathering steam as well. Here's to a long run! raphaelhythlodai
Beautifully moody art rock from Virginia that recalls the dark glory of bands like Echo & the Bunnymen and Psychedelic Furs. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 18, 2020
